Fishington.io is another version of this game where players can fish and interact with other Betrayal.io players outside of Betrayal.io itself. This game is currently in Beta and is still subject to potential progression resets (these wipe all Betrayal.io accounts and temporary cache accounts of user data in the game), making fishing for permanent experience potentially unfavorable.

Fishington Progression Reset Warning

Within Fishington.io, players only have the option to join public servers that match the spoken language of the player, given that their settings are configured accurately. This populates the game with non-AI characters that either have their cosmetics imported from Betrayal.io, by their account, or with players named "Guest" with the default masculine cosmetic set. All players are roleless, but do have temporary "game numbers" that they are assigned upon entering the server: like Betrayal.io, these game numbers are unique within a server and the unoccupied number of least value is always given to the next player to log in (e.g. if 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, and 10 are occupied, the next players to log in will be assigned 4, 5, 6, and 9). There is no known player cap for a server because of a lack of source code leaks for the game; however, the observed record is 20 players to a server.

The staple of Fishington.io, fishing, is similar to most games. Players begin with a Wooden Rod and have a basket called Bucket XS with a maximum capacity of 6 fish. Their progression, through leveling up, allows them to be able to purchase rods that catch fish more quickly and baskets with greater fish capacity: both types of equipment are available in the Fishing Store. At this time, level 18 is the maximum level upon which new equipment and Fishing Quests can be unlocked, giving players access to all accessible gameplay. There is only one lake (canonically called "The Lake") where fish can be caught. Players have only had access to one T-shaped pier and two connected shores, unable to use any boat to access places away from the littoral zone to catch fish of different niches.

There are currently 11 fish species, but there are 63 total species silhouettes in the Fish Wiki, with the 52 unknown fish only given a shadow without any provided data on weight range or rarity.
