If a player has access to a Wardrobe (within their home, in Betrayal.io lobbies, and by the westernmost stand in Fishington.io's lake), they are able to change their cosmetics as well. They have access to bodily cosmetics, clothing, pets, dance emotes, and expression emotes. While some continue to be accessible, others are blocked behind a paywall during temporary holiday shops, seasonal blind-bag cosmetic chests known as B-Packs, or have written code for them however cannot be obtained legally.

Players that have access to Betrayal.io Beta can use Voice (verbal input from internal or external microphones for real-time speech), while all Betrayal.io and Fishington.io players can use typing chat, while not in their house or in the middle of a non-meeting phase of a game, to communicate using written language.
The Betrayal.io Voice feature does not censor foul language and should be used with caution; however, there is an automatic list of blocked terms for typing chat so that players cannot use certain terms without placing spaces or other written symbols between the characters of a blocked term. For example, if the term "player" was itself a blocked term on typing chat, players could avoid having their term converted into asterisks (*) by typing "pla yer" or "p.l.a.y.e.r" instead. Controversial blocked terms, like "gay" and sexuality-related terms continue to be replaced with asterisks if spelled correctly.
Humorously, there used to be features in chat where players could resize their typing text or provide it with a different font color using a rendition of Wikipedia's Lua language. To change font size (limits 1-200), players could type "<size=[desired size]>[message]</size>" while replacing bracketed; to change font color (only hexcode or the common names of colors were acceptable), players could type "<color=[color name or hexcode]>[message]</color>" while replacing bracketed text. Players with this knowledge could disrupt other players' visuals or spam the chat tab, so END GAME INTERACTIVE removed this feature circa May 2021. Players must now either use Voice to communicate intense emotion or resort to the default size-10 black text.
